Starting with the original CROSS bolt-action rifles, the TRAX is the next generation, with the lightweight or low-profile features. Equipped with a 16 inch, tapered, Precision stainless steel threaded barrel, the CROSS TRAX is suppressor/muzzle brake ready – out of the box. Additionally, a free-floating, ultra-lightweight, skeletonized, 11.5 inch handguard features a Picatinny rail and the minimalist, folding stock, offers a low profile, no-snag bolt and handle. Every CROSS TRAX frame is engineered from aluminum with a black, anodized finish making this a durable as it is light firearm. Weighing just a but under 6 pounds makes the SIG CROSS TRAX .4 pounds lighter than the original CROSS rifle.
